I was on the bus heading to KL Sentral when an old man waved his hand for the bus to stop. The 'deliberate' driver stopped the 'high-tech' bus.
That poor-looked old man was wearing a worn out white shirt and a pair of khakis shorts. He sat right in front of me facing a young lady who wore a vivid green shirt which from my point of view an eyesore to the public (your tears would cascade down your face you saw it for yourself). While sitting on the uncomfortable seat besides the emergency exit of the U82 bus I observed the man with white hair with my eagle eyes.
He was wearing a pair of Japan slippers (selipar Jepun) which were often used in the 'tuju selipar' game and grinned to everyone who he had an eye-contact with. As my scrutiny went very well I could see the old man was fiddling with his RM 2.50 ticket and made a triangular shape object with it. Out of sudden, he inserted the now triangle-shaped ticket into his mouth. He scraped all the food left between his teeth as if the ticket was a toothpick for him. I marvel his innovation as it could save more trees from logging. As I watched him meticulously scraping I saw the eyesore in green in front of him initiated a suspicious look; annoyed I guessed.
Couple of minutes later, the old man bowed to reach something but the object was too small for me to observe. The lady in green looked very intimidated as if the man was about to harass her. I craned my neck to see and at last the man sat back and showed the lady it was only a 5 cents coin with a smile on his face. The lady showed no expression as if she was bewildered.
