The townhouses facing the hill

A leisurely drive through this neighbourhood brought back fond memories of days gone by. Of evenings spent playing dummy badminton on the cul-de-sac while keeping an eye out for the kids playing house at the foothills. Of neighbours who had time to chit chat and knew each other from the whole row of townhouses.

The children could play along the cul-de-sac and at the foothills without fear of being abducted. In the evenings, the "babu" will come on his motorcycle blaring his horn and the children will be running to him to buy the day's treats.

The nearest place to do your groceries was at the shop at Section 4 who stocked everything despite being just the size of your living room!

Now, almost twenty years later, this area is barely recognisable....
