They could discuss everything under the blue sky from Mahathir Mohamad to Marilyn Monroe. The only thing they won’t discuss is the nature of their relationship.
They first met as colleagues Andrew was looking for a room and Ahmad has a room to spare.From colleagues they become flat mates and best friends.
For the longest period, nothing happened between them except once in a while, they would throw loving and lustful glances at each other. They were waiting for the other party to make the first move. They were in denial of their feelings.
Then, out of the blue, one day, passion took over. They were kissing passionately and exploring each others naked body. But they would never call themselves as lovers. They saw themselves as best friends who shared the same bed. They were in denial of the true nature of their relationship.

More than two years has passed. As they were having dinner one day, Ahmad presented his wedding card to Andrew. Ahmad was hopping Andrew would changed his mind and persuade him to cancel the wedding.
Andrew was shocked to receive Ahmad’s wedding card. Andrew didn’t want Ahmad to get married. Andrew wanted to spend his rest of his life in Ahmad’s arms. But Andrew did nothing to stop the wedding.
“Now I must get you a wedding gift you will cherish forever,” Andrew said.
“I have something in my mind. But I will not tell you anything. I want you to be surprise when you open the gift.”
Ahmad laughed, loudly. So did Andrew.They were denial of the pain that was dancing in their hearts.
